THIS IS NOT MY DRAWING!

I purchased a book with royalty free images, and from what I uderstand from the terms and conditions of the book, it is okay for me to post this, so long as I don't claim the drawing as my own. I ONLY DID THE COLORS!

I am working on practicing Digital work and am looking for a critique and any tips I can get ^^;

OH! BTW! the book I got was titled 500 manga charachters... so I may be posting 500 of these baby's up here }=3 I also am pretty sure I can't sell them, but that's ok, because I don't plan on selling anything till I get better at drawing ^^;

And you know what? this was REALLY hard to find a category for... Digital Manga that's not a comic or fan art...

Never thought of Celebi... XDD I SHOULD have colored him green, then XDD I was debating, but thought blue looked better with the rainbow wing effect I wanted to try to do better this time ^^;

I looks great in that color! Don't have to be Celebi color to resemble it. Just the form of the fairy itself resembles Celebi. :)

Wow, very nice looking indeed, the coloring's well done, the Wings are soooo pretty. <3 Why can't I make sweet blendy colors like that? D:

XDD the wings were VERY easy,,, you just make a selection of the parts you want colored on the wings, make two new layers. on one layer you take the circle gradient (any kind, I usually do rainbow) then have the point of origin ner the charachter, the gradient getting bigger as ya go out. on the other layer, you do a render clouds, usually with a sky blue and white, or whatever colors best suit your purpose. then play with the transparencies of both layers to get what ya want ^^

as far as the other stuff... well, it was alot of soft brushes on the airbrush setting, and ALOT of time 0.0; My patience has been torn like a muscle in a downed runner's leg...

XDD ok! I still was torn whether to do it in blue or green... I think I chose blue cause I recently saw a blue haired fairy tatoo and wanted to try to repicate it... blue makes a pretty haircolor...
